CAKE DECORATIONS USING MOLDS

Today, there are many, many molds available to use in cake decorating.  One can find a mold for almost any theme you might use in decorating a cake.  Molds can be used with candy coating, gumpaste, fondant, candy clay, sugar, etc. etc.

 

When your schedule is very busy, making your decorations with molds can save you time and stress.  You can make your molded decorations ahead of time and, when you are ready to decorate the cake, the decorations are ready to use.

 

I am including a few examples of cakes I have designed using molds for all or part of the decorations to show you how you can use them in creating designs for various themes.

 

Hopefully these designs, using molded decorations, will give you some new ideas to use in creating your own cake designs.
